Finissage of the Terminal series (TXL)
On the occasion of the finissage Linda Gieres will perform a solo dance piece at 18.30.
“Facetten” by Linda Gieres, is a solo dance in two parts that can be enjoyed as a purely aesthetic experience in which movement, touch and breath create an intimate soundscape. It can also be experienced as an exploration of two fundamentally human facettes: the human taking the self as initial point of all perception, and the human trying to find significance in the immensity of the whole of which s*he is but a mere particle.
Choreography & Dance: Linda Gieres
Sound: Sebastian Laurich & Linda Gieres

2. part „Lento e largo“
Duration: 20 minutes
There will be a short intermission and from 19.30 Borghildur Indriðadóttir‘s exhibition “Hei Maei #my_كل_شي” will be on view with a performance featuring Steffanía Dóttir Páls and Calah Paula Toussaint Amat.
“Hei Maei #my_كل_شي” the performance is from 20 – 20.40Uhr.
“Heimaey” in Icelandic means “home island”. Borghildur changes the meaning to “home not home” creating a negation. Negation continues with last part of the title #my_كل_شي, meaning, “my everything” as used by the transsexual Lebanese pop singer, Haifa Magic on instagram.
