Hreinn Friðfinnsson at Meessen De Clercq
From 8 January onwards the Meessen De Clercq gallery in Brüssel presents three artists with a unique voice in the contemporary art landscape.
Between what and what not is, until today, the most important exhibition in Belgium of Hreinn FRIDFINNSSON (°1943). Through new works one of the most fascinating artists of his generation offers insight in his practice of light and dreams, underpinned by a constant flow of intense thoughts.
With her second solo exhibition, Collecting the Alphabet: The prequel (or how I met W), Kelly SCHACHT (°1983) develops a visual abecedary, exploring language and narration with malice.
In the Wunderkammer you can find Chaim VAN LUIT (°1985) who uses the expression Herbstnebel – the German code word for the Battle of the Ardennes in 1944 – in order to reveal a refined “space-time” work.
