The Art Society welcomes you to the opening of the exhibition To make art happen.
‘To make art happen’ is the first in series of three international art exhbitions with twenty-seven artists from seven countries happening in Peckham London in 2018-2019.
All three exhibitions will highlight the multiple manifestations of time in art. Whether it is a photograph of an empty space where people’s non-presence becomes resounding, site-specific work, video or a live performance, all of the works in the three shows will concentrate on time. Bringing together artists that have all dealt with the presence of time in their work or who regard their work as performative. To encourage discourse with and amongst the audience there will be live performances at all three openings.
Along with the exhibition there will be artists talks open to the public with few of the artsts each time.
