Grant decisions

Frame’s grant system is funded out of annual state subsidies received from the Ministry of Education and Culture. The grant decisions and the payment schedule for the grants are dependent on the ministry and the total sum in state subsidies paid to Frame.

Frame is an expert organization with the mission to raise the profile and increase the international visibility of Finnish contemporary art. Frame operates as an information centre for Finnish contemporary art, and it is in charge of the Finnish exhibition at the Venice Biennale.
