Based in Reykjavík, The Icelandic Art Center is looking for a highly motivated intern to join our team. We are seeking someone to help out with a wide range of tasks, including (but not limited to) social media, our website, orginasation and preperation for events and meetings, various office tasks, etc. Our team is small, therefore the applicant should be open to gain all sorts of experience within their day to day work, becoming a key member of a highly professional team. The successful canditate will gain essential skills, experience and confidence to enhance their further career prosects and may help identify fields of work he or she might want to pursue in the future. The candidate will have a 50% job percentage.
The successful candidate should be:
Fully fluent in English
Excellent communication skills
Able to start work on October 1st 2017 and preferably be able to work on projects for 3 months with us, in a 50% job percentage.
Working toward/have finished a degree in Art History or a related subject field that might come as an advantage with the internship.
