The city council of Sant Feliu de Llobregat (Barcelona, Spain) is launching a public competition to paint a huge mural (400m2), with artistic residence.
This intervention is part of the full remodeling of the “Plaza de la Salut”, located in one of the neighbourhoods built during the development and speculation fever of the Sixties, and that has been restored to the neighbourhood after a long fight of the community, that culminated with the first democratic Council expropiating the land in 1979.
The selected artist will have an artistic residence in order to know the city and the context and will create the mural during spring 2018.The prize for the winner will be 7.000€ and the organization will cover all the expenses for equipment, accommodation, travels and meals.
