We are delighted to introduce the fourth edition of The Young Masters Art
Prize, a not-for-profit initiative founded by Cynthia Corbett, Director of
The Cynthia Corbett Gallery. The prize celebrates both emerging and
established artists who pay homage to the skill and innovation of the Old
Masters and art of the past.
Founded in 2009, the Prize has attracted thousands of British, European and
international artists applicants. In this fourth edition we aim to create
an even more global network of projects and collaborations.
Now in the early stages of planning for the fourth edition of the Prize, we
are pleased to announce that the Call for Artists will launch in October
2016. Artists, working in any medium and from anywhere in the world, are
invited to submit applications from the 2nd October 2016 until 1st March
2017. The shortlist will be announced in May 2017 and the Prize exhibition
takes place in Mayfair, London, 18 – 24 June 2017 during which the winners
will be announced.
Young Masters Art Prize is keen to reach as many international artists as
possible; from foreign students who are completing their art studies in UK,
to those who are working and practicing art in their homeland.
