Sigrún Guðmundsdóttir born (1985) has performed in Iceland, Poland and Scotland using one dress or props to start. She has also exhibited paintings but for the past years she has been focusing on using the camera to capture images thats reminds us of paintings. Sigrún uses the environment like colourful walls or props to create a specific atmosphere and speaks with the models until they forget the camera.
During her residency where she got travel grant from KIM Arquetopia Puebla, she photographed students and people on the street in Mexico.
Sigrún graduated from the fine Art Department of Icelandic Academy of the Arts in 2010.
