Steinunn Gunnlaugsdóttir was born in Iceland, the latter part of last century. She graduated with a BA in Fine Arts from the Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2008.
Steinunn wanders between various fields of visual art. At the core of her work is the humanimal’s inner existential struggle – and how it confronts and combats the structures that surround it
– or surrenders to them.
