Klængur Gunnarsson: D42 Crooked
Klængur Gunnarsson is the 42th artist to exhibit in Reykjavík Art Museum´s exhibition series in D-Gallery. Gunnarsson is born in 1985 in Reykjavík, but lives and works in Gothenburg in Sweden. He studied at the Iceland Univeristy of the Arts, at Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig – Germany and completet his MFA from Akademin Valand in Gothenburg in 2019.
The D-Gallery exhibition series started in 2007. Emerging artists, who are shaping the local contemporary art scene, are invited to hold their first solo show in a public museum.
