Filling the Void is a duo exhibition in Gletta with works by Agata Mickiewicz and Styrmir Örn Guðmundsson. 

The artists present an installation of oil paintings, ink drawings and wool tapestries that are made from their fascination of crystals.

This fascination is crystallised in a statement by the quantum physicist Nassim Haramein:

“Unified physics suggests that spacetime itself is a type of holofractal crystal-like superfluid medium.”

Quantum physics is currently identifying the presence of energy in a vacuum. From observations it appears that this energy takes on the geometry of a crystal and is the elementary source of all mass, form and structure.

Gletta is located next to the harbour in Borgarfjörður Eystri.
