The exhibition presents over 300 works by close to 100 of the foremost artists from Iceland´s vibrant art scene. With this exhibition, Listval celebrates the one year anniversary of their gallery and store in Harpa. From its conception, Listval has sought to increase accessibility when its comes to the collecting and purchasing of art, to make it a process which everyone feels welcome to. During the Christmas exhibition, all of the works presented and available will also be on view on Listval´s website. “Our´s website plays a large role in increasing accessibility to art – one can browse our website and the art available from the comfort of their home, taking in our entire collection, and even make use of our ´view in your home´ feature which has been especially popular”, says Helga Björg Kjerúlf. From Listval´s first opening in Harpa the gallery has exhibited and sold contemporary art from countless artists in Iceland. “The public reception to our space in Harpa has been wonderfully positive and the reactions from our frequent visitors mirrors that”, says Elísabet Alma Svendsen.

Listval´s Christmas exhibition will stand until January 7th, with opening hours weekdays from 12 til 18 and weekends from 12 to 16.
