The work Zigaretten nach Berlin (Cigarettes to Berlin) is based on a product photograph of Jin Ling cigarettes. This contraband brand emerged as the most popular one in Europe in the late 90s and 2000s. The work challenges the conventional definition of art, pushing the boundaries of legality and exploring the blurred lines between originals and fakes.

Zigaretten nach Berlin draws its title from a Polish song from the 90’s. It is the soundtrack from the sattirical tv series, Tigers of Europe, verifying the myths about Polish early capitalism after 1989.
