Eva Isleifsdóttir (b.1982) is born in Reykjavik Iceland. She graduated in 2008 with Bachelor degree in Fine Art from the Icelandic Academy of the Arts, in 2010 she graduated from the Edinburgh College of Art with Master in Sculpture.
Recent exhibition & performances are The relativity of number 1 (going primitive) performance commissioned by the project FEED by Kunst Vardo in Oslo 2016. Staðir 2016 annual exhibition in the West of Iceland, Sculpture Sculpture at Museum of Koparvogur Gerðarsafn 2016, I am here; BELIEVE at South Gallery Edinburgh part of the Edinburgh Art Festival 2015, The grass is always greener on the other side! Group exhibition & symposium at Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein 2015, It´s the media not you! Eastern Edge Gallery St Johns, Newfoundland 2015.
Along side her practice she curates exhibitions and projects such as Staðir / Places an annual exhibition in the West fjords & A – DASH studios and exhibition space in Athens Greece.
Currently she lives and works in Reykjavik Iceland and Athens Greece.
