Klængur Gunnarsson (b.1985) lives and works in Reykjavík.
In his works, Klængur Gunnarsson examines the nuances of our everyday experiences and routines, often in a tragicomic way. He collects moments and instant images that serve as an inspiration for short novels in the form of installations, where he mostly works with photography, videos and sculptures. Klængur graduated from the Icelandic Art Academy in 2011 and has since participated in many exhibitions, both in Iceland and abroad. His work has been featured in exhibitions at the Reykjavík Art Museum, Akureyri Art Museum, Factory at Hjalteyri, The Living Art Museum, Palais de Tokyo, Paris, Gallery PFOAC, Montréal, Reykjavík Museum of Photography and more.
