The title of the exhibition refers to LG's one hundredth exhibition event since its inception. The first exhibition was held on September 12th, 2019 in memory of Ketil Larsen, and the exhibition space therefore turned 5 years old this year. At the exhibition, LG's series of events is traced from the beginning and all exhibitions are presented with the installation of a visual identity with a reference to the exhibition text together with a QR code that connects exhibition visitors to the visuals of the respective exhibition. With this, we would like to honor visual artists, give exhibition visitors an insight into the work that has taken place during the period, shed light on the diverse group of national and foreign artists who have exhibited in the space - but not least to draw attention to the cultural values that have been created in these five years. We are grateful for the cooperation with all the artists who have shown - it is thanks to them how far we have come and thanks to them that today we celebrate this milestone. At the same time, we would like to thank all the exhibition visitors who have made their way to us from all over, but there are thousands of them in the 5 years that the space has been operating. Finally, we would like to thank Hafnarfjarðarbær (Culture and Tourism Committee) for the valuable support in the form of grants and recognition of the cultural work we have done in this unique space.
