The flora and fauna of the Reykjavík pond, Tjörnin, are two interconnected systems that form a symbiotic pattern. This outdoor exhibition consists of interactive ceramic sculptures that tell us the stories of the pond, pulling its characteristics onto its banks. This gives people a chance to strengthen their relationship with the species that live by or visit the pond.

Agnes Ársæls and Anna Andrea Winther began collaborating after graduating from the Iceland University of the Arts in 2018. Their joint creative output is marked by critical play and the relationship between humans and their environment. They have exhibited in Iceland and abroad, and also taken part in various international projects. This exhibition forms part of their research project, Inter-bite, exploring the cohabitation of people and animals in our everyday lives through the sharing of a snack.
