Making Sense

Group Exhibition / Samsýning

Making Sense is an exhibition by six artists whose art is under the influence of ArtScience. ArtScience is a philosophy that explores the common grounds of art and science, highlighting that both fields study the environment and the human senses. It refers to this shared foundation of art creation and scientific research and its under this curiosity driven research of the senses that the works of the exhibition were created.

The artists are all recent graduates from the ArtScience department of The Royal Academy of the Arts in The Hague; Kristján Steinn Kristjánsson (IS), Sunna Svavarsdóttir (IS), Sophia Bulgakova (UA), Jesus Canuto Iglesias (ES), Þórir Freyr Höskuldsson (IS) and Þórður Hans (IS).
