With their new interior design collection, featuring The RÓSEMI Daybed including the RÓ Fine Wool mattress and Botanical Meditation Cushions, RÓ addresses the beauty of the raw material and natural colors around us.The collection is based on research into utilizing local, natural and renewable material; Icelandic wood, botanical dyes and multi-colored wool, unifying function, aesthetics and wellbeing for people and the planet.RÓ is founded on the concept of slow design. Based on a sustainable and holistic mindset, inviting a dialogue with nature that goes hand in hand with contemporary design, comfort and health benefits, environmental consciousness, quality and locally available materials.The team behind the new RÓ collection is the designers and artists Haraldur Karlsson and Litten Nystrøm, based in Reykjavik and Seyðisfjörður. They have been working together as a duo since 2020 on a number of interior design projects, installations and exhibition projects; commissions and independent projects.
