Örn Alexander Ámundason (b. 1984) graduated with an MFA degree from the University of the Arts in Malmö (2011). Recent exhibitions and performances include the solo exhibitions Iðavellir in Reykjavík Art Gallery (2021), Introduction to percussion, Kling og Bang (2020) and Tickle, with Una Margréti Árnadóttir, Arsenic in Lausanne (2020); Group show at the New Art Museum (2015) and Some recent works at the Reykjavík Art Museum (2016); along with Kunsthalle Exnergasse, The Armory Show and Platform Belfast. Along with working on his own art, Örn is a founding member of the artist-run space Open in Reykjavík.
