The display holds space for esoteric playfulness with animistic beings, natural magic and portals to inspired mythologies. Clay, porcelain and stoneware bodies have evolved from automatic drawings. The works have titles like Fertility Goddess, Sphinx, Oracle and Völuspá. Baka’s sculptures are an ongoing animistic collaboration where she engages in dialogue between the nature of materials, intermediary beings from a subconscious realm and her own oneiric nature.
