Three Artists from Iceland
in Conversation, an online event, took place in March 2021. The event featured
conversations with three unique artists from Iceland Hulda Rós Guðnadóttir, Anna Rún Tryggvadóttir and Styrmir Örn Guðmundsson and
moderated by Cassandra Edlefsen Lasch, editor
and curator based in Berlin.

In this talk, the three Icelandic artists explored personal insights into art-making
practices as well as some of the support structures that have positively shaped
their artistic careers. Each of them has recently held a residency at
Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin and share their perspective how institutional
collaborations can contribute to sustainable artistic careers.

The event was arranged by
the Embassy of Iceland in Berlin in cooperation with Künstlerhaus Bethanien in
Berlin and the Icelandic Art Center in Reykjavik, with further support from
Business Iceland.
